The Heights @ Durack is a transformative master-planned community spanning over 50 hectares in the heart of Palmerston, just 20 minutes from Darwin CBD. Designed to accommodate more than 400 families across seven stages, the development offers a diverse range of lot sizes—from low-maintenance 300m² blocks to spacious 1000m² premium homesites. This diversity caters to various demographics, including first-time buyers, growing families, and retirees.

Emphasizing modern tropical living, The Heights integrates over 15 hectares of landscaped parklands and open spaces, including Moonta Park—a standout play space inspired by the historic Moonta ship. The community features walking and cycling paths that connect the entire neighborhood, promoting an active lifestyle and fostering community engagement.
Sustainability is a cornerstone of the development, with initiatives such as water-sensitive urban design, expansive green spaces, and landscaping that protects local ecosystems. Elevated structures are employed to promote natural ventilation and cooling, ensuring energy-efficient homes year-round.
The project also includes a $35 million retirement village developed in collaboration with Masonic Homes Ltd, providing 60 high-quality retiree villas and a dedicated community center, further enhancing the community’s inclusivity and appeal.
Our Role
As the client-side project manager, Norman Global Projects oversees the comprehensive delivery of The Heights @ Durack. Our responsibilities encompass strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and coordination with contractors to ensure the project’s alignment with community needs and regulatory frameworks. We are committed to delivering infrastructure that not only meets but exceeds expectations in terms of sustainability, accessibility, and operational excellence.
